AI Only When You Ask

A document is sent to our secure server only when you use an AI or conversion tool on it, and only after you sign in.

30-Day Auto-Deletion

Extracted text, chat history and AI results are deleted automatically after 30 days. Original files are never stored on our servers.

HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, rotating sign-in sessions and tokens kept in encrypted device storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain).

STORAGE & PRIVACYDoes AI PDF Toolkit upload my PDFs to a server?

Only when you use an AI or conversion tool. Merge, Split, Image to PDF, Scan and the PDF viewer work 100% on your device. For AI PDF Chat, Summarize, Translate, Export Notes, AI Report and Word/Excel conversions, the file is sent over HTTPS to our server, which extracts the text and processes it. The original file itself is not stored.

ACCOUNTSWhy do AI tools require an account?

AI processing costs real computing resources. An account lets us keep your documents and chat history private to you, protect the service from abuse and apply a fair daily limit (currently 60 AI requests per day). You can sign in with email and password or with Google.

DATA RETENTIONHow long do you keep my document text and AI results?

Extracted text, search chunks, chat sessions and AI results are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. Files you save in the app (PDFs, DOCX, XLSX) stay on your device until you delete them.

AI PROCESSINGWhich AI service processes my documents? Is my data used for training?

Relevant excerpts of your document and your question are sent to Groq, our AI inference provider, to generate the answer. We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we never sell or share them for advertising.

PERMISSIONSWhy does the app ask for the camera permission?

Only for Scan / Create PDF and for taking photos to turn into PDFs. Scanning (edge detection and cropping) happens on your device. Photos and files are chosen through the system pickers, so the app does not need broad access to your storage.

ACCOUNT DELETIONHow do I delete my account and data?

Open the app, go to Profile and tap "Delete account". This permanently removes your account, documents, chat history, AI results, reports and usage records from our servers immediately. You can also email us to request deletion.

SECURITYCan someone trick the AI into revealing other data?

AI PDF Toolkit includes a prompt protector that screens questions for injection attempts, treats all document text as untrusted data, and checks AI output for leaks before it reaches you. Each account can only access its own documents.
